From the beginning, the Runroom team stood out for its personalized approach and deep knowledge of digital marketing and SEO strategies. In a highly competitive sector, characterized by the constant evolution of information, the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics sought to stand out as a reliable source of knowledge in nutrition.
The Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics had two clear goals: to revamp its professional website to improve its design and usability, and to create an informative blog portal on nutrition and dietetics accessible to all. The challenge was to compete in a field saturated with health and nutrition content and stand out as a reliable and authoritative source.
The Academy's website is categorized as YMYL (Your Money Your Life) by Google; this implies the need to offer high-quality content and demonstrate authority in the field. In addition, they faced competition from major sports media, generalists, hospitals and nutrition centers.
We approached the “Nurturing” project with a comprehensive strategy that included:
- Search Pattern Analysis: The search patterns of the target audience were studied to create an SEO-friendly web structure that effectively responds to the needs of nutrition and dietetics information.
- SEO and Blog Consultancy: An SEO consultancy was conducted and a blog was implemented on the web, full of valuable and reliable content written by professionals of the Academy.
- Backlink Generation: A high-quality backlink generation strategy was implemented to increase the authority of the site and improve its visibility in search results.
- Content strategy: The Academy was advised on the selection of priority topics based on popular searches with little Google competence.
Users responded positively to the optimised web structure and the enriched content, especially as reflected in the extension of the time spent on the site. Likewise, the link building strategy contributed to a sustained increase in the number of quality links, strengthening digital authority.
In less than a year, the results speak for themselves:
- The "Nurturing" portal is attracting more than 120,000 monthly visits.
- Sistrix Organic Visibility Index (a crucial SEO metric) demonstrates the effectiveness of the implemented strategy
- The "Nurturing" project received the prestigious Ágora Bienestar award, highlighting excellence in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
